From Burford – Banbury, Banbury – Broadway, Broadway to Burford and all
places in-between, welcome to the most fashionable, sought after and
thriving area of England right now.
With wonderful attractions
including Soho Farmhouse, Daylesford and The Bell at Langford to name
just a few, London accessibility from various stations on the Cotswold
Line; Kingham, Charlbury, the Wychwoods and Oxford, stunning houses,
wonderful hamlets, towns and villages, and character abounding with a
social scene to die for, it’s easy to see why this tiny pocket of our
country is hitting such a peak.
With the current buying market
clearly stalled and Brexit still months away from being sorted, short
to mid-term rental demand is certainly outweighing the supply. With
‘Londoners’ looking for a temporary escape from city life and their
friends doing the same thing, we are seeing Notting Hill flock to the
Tews on mass- or at least try to!
Is it a fad?, or is the
demand for the North Oxfordshire Cotswolds here to stay for good? Only
time will tell and I’m sure the competition will be snapping at its
heels. You can’t stand still in this day and age so I would expect
further development and progress in the coming months and years.
It’s
very interesting times with much uncertainty in the air, but that’s all
part of the fun, part of the challenge and part of the intrigue. The
day to day game of matching people with their desired properties is
certainly not a boring one!
Insider Tip
As
wonderful as this Golden Triangle is for an abundance of reasons, you
could swap ‘Stow for Cirencester’ or whizz into ‘Kemble not Kingham’ and
you will soon discover an area of infrastructure, beauty and delight
with a lot more bang for your buck!
